Salmon Rushdie did an author event at the Central Library about Enchantress of Florence....and I missed it T_T

Oh well, he's doing an hour-long interview on Radio Times this morning...but it's just not the same. Bah.

A Fantasy-Romance by Salman Rushdie? Apparently so. Rushdie is one of those brilliant authors like Trollope or Voltaire whose work I am ashamed to admit I have never read.
